Reheating Instructions

Here's a guide to reheat your favorite Red Ribbon savory products at home.

Please follow USDA recommendations for the safe handling, refrigeration, storage times, and reheating of takeout or delivered foods. Please visit usda.gov for more information.

For best results, use the appropriate appliance for specific products. Handle all reheated products with care. Use oven mitts and/or tongs when necessary to avoid hot spills and burns.

Empanada

Chicken, Beef, and Pork

  1. Preheat air fryer or oven to the recommended temperature for your preferred method of reheating.
  2. Remove all packaging and discard. Do not heat the box, sleeve, or any other packaging.
  3. Place the product in a single layer inside the air fryer basket or in an oven-safe try lined with aluminum foil. Use an oven-safe rack over the tray if available.
  4. Refer to table below. Check product temperature and quality; adjust heating time as needed.
  5. Heat the product until crimp sides are crispy & crumbly and the internal temperature reaches 165°F or higher. Consume immediately.

Our empanadas are not recommended to be reheated in a microwave due to significant changes in product quality.

Palabok

  1. Remove all packaging and discard. Do not put the box inside the microwave.
  2. Transfer the product into a microwave-safe dish. Cover with a damp paper towel.
  3. Refer to time instructions below. Check product temperature and quality; adjust heating time as needed.
  4. Heat the product until steaming and internal temperature reaches 165°F or higher. Consume immediately.

Takeout or Delivery within 1-2 hours of purchase*
Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir midway thru heating.

Refrigerated properly stored at 41°F or lower*
Microwave for 3.5 to 4 minutes.
Stir midway thru heating.

Arroz Caldo

  1. Remove bowl cover. Only the black bowl is a microwave safe container.
  2. Cover bowl with a damp paper towel.
  3. Refer to time instructions below. Check product temperature and quality; adjust heating time as needed.
  4. Heat the product until steaming and internal temperature reaches 165°F or higher. Consume immediately.

Takeout or delivery within 1-2 hours of purchase*
Microwave for 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir midway thru heating.

Refrigerated properly stored at 41°F or lower*
Microwave for 4.5 to 5 minutes.
Stir midway thru heating.

*Note: If not to be consumed within 2 hours of purchase (or within 1 hour if air temperature is above 90°F), store it promptly in the refrigerator at 41°F or lower, and then fully reheat to 165°F internal temperature before eating. Please note that heating times are approximations and appliances differ; adjust heating times as necessary.
